April 7, 2019 -  New Bridge Work Begins

The old bridge section has been demolished. The pillars of the new bridge section have been erected.

February 23, 2019 - "The Big Switch"

Traffic is shifted onto the new bridge section. The freeway will be shut down during nights to complete demolition of the old bridge section and begin prep work for the new bridge section.

February 16, 2019 - Preparing to open the new bridge

La Crosse Avenue is shut down to re-align and complete pavement work to connect with the new bridge section. Traffic will soon be shifted over to the new bridge in preparation to demolish the old bridge.
